Built up letters
The option of cut out or built up letters is also available as an interesting alternative. This type of branding / wayfinding plays with perspective, building shadows and creating attention-grabbing contrasts between the letters and the background. Available in a variety of materials, a wide range of effects can be achieved in both colour and texture. Adding illumination also helps draw the eye to these signs and enhance their appeal.
Poster frames
We produce two main types of poster frames ‘hinged lockable’ and ‘lift on/off’. The ‘lift on/off’ frame is easy to use. The front can be, as the name suggests, lifted on or off by accessing two hidden bolts. The ‘hinged lockable’ frame is designed for added security. It is hinged for ease of use and can be locked using an adapted allen key. Both of these frames come in two standard sizes, DR (685 x 1065mm) and QR (1320 x 1065mm). Doric also produces literature racks. Manufactured from aluminium and available sprayed or powder coated for added durability. Company logos can be incorporated into the design. Both poster frames and literature racks can be mounted to create a structure, or alternatively, wall fixed. A mobile version (APEX stand) is also available.
Braille and tactile Signs
The introduction of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) in 1995 has implications for most businesses, in the UK there are nearly one million people visually impaired or registered blind* and it is a legal requirement that signage is clear and easy to read.

Banners
Banners are an ideal way to convey advertisements, messages etc, usually external, banners are available in a range of materials including PVC, canvas or perforated window film. With an ability to print up to 1440 dpi and using ADOII solvent based inks, a smooth glossy finish can be achieved every time. All our digital prints are UV, water and scratch resistant for up to three years and can be laminated for extra durability. Flat plates
Flat plates are probably one of the simplest ways of signing but are equally highly flexible. With the options of being wall mounted or post fixed they are easy to position. Thereare a wide variety of options available for printing, from screen printing to digital. For high durability, flat plate signs can be stove enamelled or powder coated.

System signs
System signs operate by clipping extrusions together to create a flexible directory.
